Is life what you were expecting it to be?

When you were born you were just peeved that you were being force beyond your own will to be place in a cold cramped hurry-hurry world. You could not see past you mothers face, you could not choose your destination, you had no say in the type of formula that you drank. You were and in some ways still are totally helpless. When you took your first step, were your parents there to video tape it? No probably not.

When you were a little kid did you say to your self "one day i will be obsessed with something people will call the Internet and i will be famous like the girl Paris Hilton." No you most likely did not for a few reasons, Internet was probably either not invented or popular at that time, and Paris Hilton was probably still a teen or just not popular yet... But then again who is to say that she ever has been popular? well it sure as hell will never be me to say that. Anyways.

Life is unexpected it changes in the blink of an eye and you can never be sure when that will happen.

You probably told you self when you were a child that you would be a fire fighter or a fairy or a police man or a ballerina. Now that probably sounds more like it, now doesn't it? You didn't want to be anything but what you wanted to be and no one was going to put a stop to that. But as life goes on and you hit that awkward age of 11-13 you realized life is what made you and life will forever be what controls you.

When you grow up you are never the highest person on the food chain. There is always some one higher. It is my belief that all superiors are a figment of our imaginations. We think them up so that our work is more meaningful to us and to the people around us.

But none the less they insist on persevering and working us until our heads go flying off like a Fido on 'E' catching a bone. I think were most people begin to really understand life in place they failed to previously would have to be when they hit old age.

The saying 'hit old age' is probably the best way to put it due to the fact that many people would like to "hit old age" with the heaviest object that they possibly could, for taking there beauty and there brains and there all out sanity.

But back to topic.

Life is complex and a teacher of mine once told me that the youth is wasted on the young, because they cant see life the way that it was meant to be seen since they have not lived yet. Those who do understand because they have lived are to frail to enjoy there new found understanding.

I can imagine that like myself when you were a young child your first ambition was not to grow old to understand life. That, though is the way that life works. You expect great things and you achieve things to your own ability and then you grow old and gray and realize that life was far from what you were expecting it to be.
